Teen Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety can show up in teens in many different ways. Some teens feel constantly on edge, overthink everything, struggle with perfectionism, or carry a deep fear of falling behind or disappointing others. Others may experience panic, difficulty sleeping, irritability, trouble concentrating, social anxiety, or a persistent sense of stress that feels hard to turn off.
Over time, anxiety can begin to impact school, friendships, confidence, family relationships, and a teen’s overall sense of safety and well-being.
Many teens work hard to hide how overwhelmed they feel internally while continuing to push themselves externally.
My Approach
I provide somatic, mindfulness-based, and identity-affirming therapy for teens navigating anxiety, stress, panic, and emotional overwhelm. My approach focuses on helping teens better understand their nervous systems, recognize patterns of stress and self-criticism, and develop practical tools for feeling more grounded and supported in their daily lives.
Using a collaborative and trauma-informed approach, therapy helps teens build emotional awareness, strengthen self-trust, and feel more connected to themselves, their relationships, and their environment.
