Teen Depression Therapy

Depression in teens can sometimes be difficult to recognize. It may show up as emotional shutdown, exhaustion, irritability, withdrawal, low motivation, hopelessness, difficulty connecting with others, or feeling unlike themselves lately. Some teens appear overwhelmed and emotionally reactive, while others become quiet, numb, disconnected, or isolated.

Depression can impact school, relationships, self-esteem, daily routines, and a teen’s overall sense of well-being. Many teens struggle silently while trying to keep up with expectations around school, friendships, sports, and social life.

My Approach

I offer somatic, relational, and identity-affirming therapy for teens experiencing depression, emotional overwhelm, burnout, and disconnection. My approach helps teens better understand their emotions, reconnect with themselves, and develop tools for navigating difficult experiences with greater support and self-compassion.
